These Booking Terms apply to Holly Tree House and are governed by English law and apply to allBookings except where we agree to other terms in writing.
Prices
All rates are per room per night, Bed and Breakfast.
Reservations, Amendments to Reservations, Cancellations
We can not confirm a booking without valid credit card details which are held securely; Holly Tree House is fully PCI compliant and can accept most credit cards.
If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival, you will be charged in full unless we are able to re-let your room(s). Reservations of 5 nights or more will be subject to cancellation charges 14 nights in advance.
No reason for a cancellation is ever a nice one and often arises because of devastating personal circumstance or a change of plan last minute. Please remove the costly problem of cancelling your holiday by taking out insurance, however unlikely you think your cancellation maybe.
PLEASE TAKE OUT INSURANCE AS SOON AS YOU BOOK in order to cover yourself fully. Please understand that you were made aware of these terms at time of booking in order for us to save your room for you. Please don’t ask us to waiver our terms and conditions. Verbal abuse will be reported.
Travel insurance for UK based holidays can be as little as £6.00 per person, please consider this option. Try www.comparethemarket.com or www.gocompare.com for a variety of insurance quotes.
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a booking or reservation.
To amend or Cancel Your Booking, please email or call us. We will ask that any requested changes are notified to us in writing.
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we may have to relocate you to another room and if we need to cancel your booking we will fully refund any monies.
Holly Tree House & Guest Responsibilities
We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests or violate the rules or statutes in place to secure wellbeing of all guests.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. We will make such charges against the credit/debit card used to reserve the room.
Smoking, Pets and Guest Restrictions
We operate a strict non-smoking policy throughout our establishment and request that all guests respect our wishes. Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your booking plus an additional £200 for specialist cleaning to your room.
Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room.
We love animals but unfortunately we are not able to accommodate pets.
We can not accommodate children.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving with children or animals.
We do not allow unregistered guests on our premises at anytime without our express consent.
Parking and Bike Storage
Guest vehicles can be parked on our drive or at the Cowes Football Club. Parking at any of these spaces are entirely at the vehicle owners risk.
We have a lockable store for guest bicycles available. Use of this facility is entirely at the owner’s risk.
Data Protection
We may process the information you provide to us for the purposes notified to us by the Information Commissioner. By making a booking, you consent to this processing of information.
We are registered with the ICO as a data holder. We will not use your data except with your prior permission.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Unless expressly agreed in writing, by making a reservation with Holly Tree House you are accepting these Booking Terms in full.
